ADVANCE NOTICE
Monday, 30th January
7.30pm Deanery Synod at Brookenby

This Wednesday sees the restart of two home groups. At 11.00am the ‘Challenging Lifestyles’ course, based on talks by Nicky Gumbel, will begin at the Vicarage. Then at 7.30pm David Post’s ‘Bible Study’ course continues at his home. You would be very welcome to join us for either of these courses.

Canon Andrew White, the Chaplain of St. George’s Church, Baghdad, is due to give a talk in York on the 6th February. David Post hopes to go along to see him. Perhaps if you missed hearing him when he spoke in Market Rasen, or if you are interested in hearing him again, you might like to have a word with David?

We are looking forwards to welcoming our Archdeacon, the Ven. Jane Sinclair, to our morning service on Sunday, 12th February.
Jane will preach for us that day.

Sadly, Chris and Julia Harrington will soon be leaving us, as they look forwards to moving to Heckington. We are planning a ‘farewell’ party on Saturday 3rd March, before their last Sunday the 4th March. Further details to follow.

This year’s Deanery Confirmation Service will be on Sunday, 13th May. If you, or someone you know, would like to confirm their faith, please have a word with Chris or myself. There will be a preparation course prior to the day.

Charles Patrick, Rector.
