Our ‘Posse’ Youth Group meet this evening at the Church Hall. Norman Palmer, of “Phather’s Day Physics” fame will be joining us again. This time Norman is bringing a telescope to show us some of the secrets of the universe! Anyone who is interested is welcome to come along; and refreshments will be served.

The ‘Challenging Lifestyles’ course, presented by Nicky Gumbel, has got underway, but it is not too late to join us. We watch the DVD over coffee, and then have a discussion over a shared lunch. Please let me know if you are interested.

Next Sunday is Advent Sunday, the start of the new Church Year. In the evening we have our
annual ‘Christingle’ service, to which all are warmly welcomed. Offers of Mince Pies, to have afterwards, would be gratefully received.

The Rev. Annabel Barber, who is a Hospital Chaplain and Retreat leader, is planning a Day of Reflection for Advent entitled: ‘Waiting with Mary’, which will be held at our Church Hall on Saturday, 3rd December from 10.00 – 3.30pm. Please consider coming along to what promises to be an excellent time of preparation of our hearts for the ‘coming of Christ’.
