A big ‘thank you’ to all those who have been involved with cleaning the church this last week! I am sure you will agree they have done a wonderful job. It is difficult to single any one out, but I might just say that Alison Ashworth was in church polishing every day of the week!

The ‘Challenging Lifestyles’ course, presented by Nicky Gumbel, has got underway. But it is not too late to come along, if you would like to join us. We watch the DVD over coffee, and then have a discussion over a shared lunch. Please let me know if you are interested.

The Rev. Annabel Barber, who is a Hospital Chaplain and Retreat leader, is planning a Day of Reflection for Advent entitled: ‘Waiting with Mary’, which will be held at our Church Hall on Saturday, 3rd December from 10.00am – 3.30pm. Please consider coming along to what promises to be an excellent time of preparation in our hearts for the ‘coming of Christ’.

We have been invited to say prayers for road safety with the drivers of the Gritting Lorries at their Willingham Road Depot on Wednesday. You would be welcome, if you wish, to join us.

Charles Patrick, Rector.
