Welcome to St Peter & St Pauls

[Go to news]

Whether you have recently moved into the area or have lived here for many years, we want to extend you a warm and friendly welcome.

We are an evangelical, Anglican Church, offering a warm and friendly welcome and a 'down-to-earth' approach to faith. The congregation is made up of a complete mix of ages with particular concern for children and young people.

If you wish to explore the Christian Faith but are not yet ready to attend church we would be very pleased to talk to you. Various introductory courses such as Alpha and Emmaus are also on offer.

Finally, if you are new to the area, we hope you will soon settle down and feel a part of the community.

If you have any queries regarding baptisms, confirmations, weddings, funerals or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact the rector.

25/07 :  Posse Summer 2008

The Posse is the Youth Arm of the Church at Middle Rasen. We meet once a month at the Church Hall - see website in the last half of August for details of events and actual dates - and we have social and charity fund-raising events to bring together the young people of Middle Rasen. Through the year we meet, rain or shine, for mad games, food, chilling and the now WORLD-RENOWNED Thought for the Evening. There are NEW events planned for September and beyond so stay alert!

The highlight of the year has to be the amazing Posse Camp, held in July at a wonderful location in Lincolnshire.
The title of the weekend was "Working together, Living life to the full" based on Jesus's encouragement in John 10 and the Posse certainly did fulfill this verse this weekend!
11 young people plus leaders had a fabulous time cooking on an open fire, letterboxing, ultimate glow-in-the-dark frisbeeing, and generally enjoying the stunning weather. The 5th annual Posse Olympics was also held beside the lake in glorious sunshine when high jump, limbo, pole-vaulting and giant inner-tube races were added to the list of ridiculous tasks set the two teams.

If you are aged 11+ and would like to join in, do please come along to the Posse - spelt "Posse" - all are welcome. Keep your eyes peeled for details of events and times, dates etc. These will be posted on this site and emailed to those on the Posse Email Round-Up.
