Welcome to St Peter & St Pauls

[Go to news]

Whether you have recently moved into the area or have lived here for many years, we want to extend you a warm and friendly welcome.

We are an evangelical, Anglican Church, offering a warm and friendly welcome and a 'down-to-earth' approach to faith. The congregation is made up of a complete mix of ages with particular concern for children and young people.

If you wish to explore the Christian Faith but are not yet ready to attend church we would be very pleased to talk to you. Various introductory courses such as Alpha and Emmaus are also on offer.

Finally, if you are new to the area, we hope you will soon settle down and feel a part of the community.

If you have any queries regarding baptisms, confirmations, weddings, funerals or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact the rector.

04/07 :  Musical Jam Evening! Saturday July 5th 2008 6pm

   Musical Jam Evening!
Saturday July 5th 2008, 6pm
Middle Rasen Church (St P+P’s)

A call to all musicians in our local Church groups: we are getting together to have a jam evening for anyone interested in any or all of the following:
· playing music in a group,
· improving your standard by playing with other musicians,
· picking up a different instrument or practising an old one – (eg: if you are a pianist but would like · to sing for a bit instead)
· learning some new songs and playing some older ones with feeling!
· helping out with the occasional joint Church service,
· or simply listening and making helpful suggestions!

If this is you, please do join us for an evening of music, practice, and, we hope, fun at Middle Rasen Church on Saturday 5th July at 6pm. There will be light refreshments served and we think the evening should be finished by 8pm.

Please bring any instrument (electric, acoustic, percussion, wind, brass etc.) plus a piece of music or two that you would like to play with others. We have a copyright licence, and most pieces are photocopiable. We have an electric keyboard in Church so pianists, relax!

We hope to see you on July 5th!
Every blessing,

Helen Robinson
Middle Rasen Church Group.

For further details or to let me know your song choices so I can get them printed and ready, please do get in touch via email or telephone: 07964 481547 or my ex-directory home number if you have it!!
